In the heart of Bovec

The road to Bovec itself is beautiful, surrounded by the picturesque mountains of the Julian Alps in the middle of the Triglav National Park and adorned by the emerald green river Soča. You can walk to the center (2 minutes walk), while your car will be safely waiting for you in our parking lot. In the immediate vicinity are a bakery, shop, restaurants and bars, as well as a starting point for all activities.

We offer an electric charging station for your electric vehicles, and you can also store bicycles and ski equipment in our storage room.

Bovec - valley of adrenaline

Bovec is a paradise for adrenaline sports, such as rafting, canyoning on the Soča River, paragliding, zip-line, skydiving, climbing. As well as less adrenaline-filled, such as hiking, mountain climbing, cycling, kayaking and canoeing, fishing, and in winter, skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing.

We encourage homemade

In the middle of the unspoilt nature below Triglav, in the central area of the Triglav National Park, lies the farm and cheese factory of the Vertelj family. Our sheep graze on the highest mountain pastures, under the mighty mountains, which give milk for the production of authentic sheep's cheese and cottage cheese. Homemade sheep's cheese and cottage cheese are produced in the traditional way, as it was produced in these places by previous generations.

The farm near Lepočer has its roots at least as far back as the 18th century. Knowledge of sheep farming and cheese and curd production technology was passed down from generation to generation through oral tradition. Now we have 50 dairy sheep on the farm. The sheep already lamb in January so that we can start producing cheese in mid-March. We sell the lambs for Easter, leaving the rest for domestic use. The farm is 1000 meters above sea level, where the grass gives the milk-cheese and cottage cheese a special taste and aroma.
